Iowa Western CC DB Commits to Ball State

Ball State added a boost of experience in the secondary with a late addition to the 2016 Class.

Ball State boosted the experience of its secondary over the weekend when former Iowa Western CC DB Deion Hallmon committed to Coach Mike Neu and the Cardinals coaching staff.

Hallmon, who is originally from the Fort Lauderdale, FL area, originally committed to Rutgers as a senior, but flipped to Mid-American Conference rival Northern Illinois later in the process.

After redshirting as a freshman with the Huskies, Hallmon transferred to Iowa Western where he played last season as a reserve for the Reivers notching 10 tackles in 6 games.

The 5-11 185 Hallmon adds an experienced and talented cog in the secondary for the Cardinals, he will also have 3 years to play two in a Cardinal uniform.
