Cardinals offer Michigan DB

One of Michigan's top under-the-radar talents picked up his first FBS level offer.

Brett Anderson, a 5-11 175 DB from Grand Blanc (MI), picked up his first FBS level offer when Ball State extended following the Cardinal's Annual Spring Football Game.

"It was amazing I truly am blessed and thankful for the opportunity," Anderson said. "All glory too God."

For Anderson, who also has offers from Columbia and Colgate, the offer was a perfect cap to a big day at Ball State.

"I loved it," Anderson said. "I loved the atmosphere."

Aside from his three offers, Anderson states his recruiting thus far has been kind of quiet.

"A lot of the Ivy League schools," Anderson said. "But no other FBS schools are recruiting me very hard at the moment."

All that should change though for the athletic and cerebral Anderson.

"My high football IQ and I've always been coachable and a leader," Anderson said of what he brings to the field. "Last year I was a captain on my team and it was my first year on varsity."
