Cardinals get commitment from top target

Cardinals add Georiga playmaking WR to Class of 2017

Ball State Coach Mike Neu talked about the need to add playmakers to the receiving corps all during last season as the Cardinals struggled to get solid footing the passing game. The Cardinals made a major upgrade by adding one of the top targets in their Class of 2017 in Douglasville (GA) Alexander WR Justin Hall.

Hall, a 5-11 170 WR, was able to visit Ball State this past weekend where he was able to get a first hand feel for the program. Needless to say, he came away impressed.

"(They have) great coaches that love the game," Hall said. "They have great facilities and a great campus too."

Hall completed his career at Alexander with over 2,500 yards and 24 touchdowns. This past season he was named all-State in his Class in Georgia.

Hall chose the Cardinals over a bevy of offers that included finalists Ohio and Georgia Southern and others such as Colorado StateWestern KentuckyTroy and Georgia State.

With the graduation of all-time receptions leader Kevonn Mabon, Hall is being projected as not only seeing the field as a true freshman next season, but quite possibly as a starter.
