Michigan OLine has 4 MAC Offers

Ball State is the latest to offer talented Michigan Offensive Lineman.

Saline (MI) Offensive Lineman Dimitri Douglas has seen his recruiting stock take off since the end of his junior campaign.

Along with offers from Central MichiganBuffalo and Bowling Green, Douglas picked up an offer from Ball State.

"Whenever a school offers me it is a great experience no matter what school it is," Douglas said.

Although he has not visited the school yet, Douglas, a 6-4 280 OT, has developed a relationship with Cardinal Defensive Line Coach and main Michigan recruiter Keith McKenzie.

"I have only spoken to Coach McKenzie but I plan on going down and visiting soon," Douglas said. "I do plan to visit in January or February. I know the staff is new and I look forward to meeting Coach (Mike) Neu and (OLine) Coach Kyle DeVan."

As he heads into junior day visits and the summer camp circuit, Douglas is confident in what he can bring to a team and, in turn, what he wants to see in a college program.

"I am very athletic and shifty for being 280 pounds," Douglas said. "And I also like to play a little dirty. I look at the team graduation rate and team GPA. Then I ultimately look for a relationship with the coaches. And of course for a second home and family."
