Sunday Was Junior Day at Ball State

Ball State handed out offers to five 2018 prospects during junior day.

For some it was their first offer, for others, it was another solid offer to add to their list of possible college destination, either way you look at it Sunday was an exciting day for 5 prospects in the Class of 2018.

Ball State handed out offers to a handful of their top targets in the Class of 2018 on Sunday during their annual Junior Day program.

The Cardinal offer was the second for Cincinnati St. Xavier DE Bobby Jefferson (other offer from Toledo) and Park Hills (KY) Covington Catholic DE Kameron Butler (other offer from Marshall).

Butler, a 6-3 235 DE, came away with a great feeling about the Ball State program.

"Junior day was a blast," Butler said. "I like how the school is big and new but you can still walk to places and I like the coaching staff as a whole and the family atmosphere and all the NFL experience they have."

Also receiving offers were Lawrence Central (IN) DE Branson Deen, Mishawaka (IN) Penn S Paul Moala and Danville (IN) TE Alec Burton.

"The junior day was everything I hoped it would be," Deen, a 6-3 245 DE, said. "I think the Cardinals are doing great things with their program. I love the coaching staff already."

Moala, a 6-1 190 S, was amazed with the offer.

"It's a great opportunity and just a great place to be," Moala said. "It means a lot. One of the best feelings in the world to be honest."

Burton, a 6-4 220 TE, was also very thankful for the offer.

"I am really honored and blessed," Burton said. "It's a dream come true and I thank all the coaches and I'm going to keep on working."
