Versatile DB Will Push to Play

A look at the 27 players added to the Ball State roster on Signing Day 2017

Analysis: Myles Hannah is a guy that can and will do a lot of different things for the Ball State secondary. He is tough, physical, fast and fluid. He is able to cover in man, excel in zone or play centerfield. He is not shy about sticking his nose in against the run or getting hands on a receiver in bump-n-run coverage. Hannah missed part of his senior season to injury, but what you see on film is his skillset and the quality of coaching he received at one of the nation’s top programs. Hannah has fluid hips and back peddles well which translate into him being a solid cover CB. As a S, he has the ability to read quickly and react to plays confidently. He attacks the run and isn’t afraid of contact.

Outlook: The only question with Hannah right now is what position he projects at. He can play wherever there is a need – from FS, to DB, to nickel – and will probably see the field sooner than later because of this versatility. Hannah also has the added value of being able to contribute on special teams. Where ever the staff elects to put Hannah, he will excel in our opinion.
