The Cardinals are a program that Moreland doesn't know a great deal about, but does know it produces NFL caliber talent.
"I feel that it's a great offer for me," Moreland said. "With it being my first in the (Mid-American Conference) MAC Conference. I haven't had the chance to really go in depth on the program, but one thing I have noticed is that they produce players for sure. I know of one for sure, (New Orleans Saints WR) Willie Snead Jr., who is a Ball State product. so that is an upside I can see already."
In order to learn more about Ball State, Moreland is already contemplating a trip to Muncie, IN to see the school.
"(I haven't made) official plans," Moreland said of a possible visit. "But I definitely look to come sometime this summer. most likely June or July."
Aside from Ball State, Moreland, a 5-11 168 ATH, has offers from Army West Point, Navy, Air Force, Furman and South Alabama and is hearing from Miami (OH) and Samford. It's early in the process, but Moreland states he has two programs that he likes thus far.
"i'd say, other than the Ball State offer,"Moreland said. "Army stands out, because it feels like they're making a real effort to bring me in."
Whoever is lucky to get Moreland is getting a true playmaker, on either side of the ball.
"The number one thing I'm going to give to a team is my all," Moreland said. "I feel that my playmaking ability is nothing to doubt, on either side of the ball, but I pride myself in playing with heart, and leading on the field. And off as well."
