Cardinal Coaches Concentrate on QBs

Ball State handed out 11 more offers, including 4 to QBs, last weekend.

The Ball State coaching staff knows that the quarterback position is probably the most important to get a commitment (if not two) out of in this class. Thanks to that need, the Cardinals extended 4 new offers to QBs last week as a part of 11 new offers the staff extended overall.

Will Levis, a 6-4 222 QB from Middletown (CT) Xavier, comes from an area that the Cardinals don't typically venture in to, but Levis is too talented not to go after. Along with an offer from the Cardinals, Levis boasts offers from Southern MississippiWestern MichiganToledoOhio and Massachusetts among others.

J.T. Shrout, a 6-3 187 QB from Newhall (CA) Hart, is the second California QB that the Cardinals have offered in as many years. Shrout holds offers from the likes of Fresno StateUNLVHawaii and San Jose State.

Kaleb Eleby, a 6-1 204 QB from Maryland Heights (MO) Pattonville, is an athletic QB that brings a lot to the field. He holds offers from IllinoisIowa StateToledoWestern Michigan & Arkansas State among others.

Finally, the Cardinals offered QB Trad Beatty, a 6-5 223 talent from Columbia (SC) Ben Lippen. Beatty has offers from Mississippi StateTempleWestern KentuckyAppalachian State and many more.

Defensive Line Help

Ball State also extended offers to a pair of standout defensive lineman from the same school last week.

6-3 292 DT Elijah Ball from Rome (GA) Darlington, is an athletic marvel who played TE as well last season. He holds offers from Army West PointNavyGeorgia Southern and Mercer.

His teammate at Darlington, DE Jacob Hunt, 6-4 250, also holds offers from TulaneGeorgia Southern and Mercer.

More Wide Receivers

The Cardinals also extended offers to a pair of WR prospects last week.

Avon (IN) Slot Isaac Guerendo, a 6-0 185 speedster who is also a standout track athlete, also holds offers from Army West Point and Air Force.

The Cardinals dipped back into Georiga again, offering Norcross standout Isaiah McKoy. The 6-3 185 WR also has offers from Arkansas State and Georgia Southern.

Three More Offers

The Cardinals weren't done for the week though, offering three more players:

Mason (OH) OT Eric Miller, a 6-6 265 athlete who holds offers from OhioBuffaloWestern Kentucky, Central Michigan, Army & Appalachia State among others.

Washington (DC) St. John's DB D.J. Brown has offers from ArizonaBoston CollegeVanderbiltMarshall and more.

Ball State also offered Reserve (LA) East St. John TE Javon Antonio, a 6-4 215 athlete that holds offers from Purdue, Texas State & South Alabama among others.
