Crown Point TE has offer

Despite sitting with just one major college offer, Crown Point TE Zach Cecich is still garnering interest from several MAC schools.

Zach Cecich is a very well decorated Indiana High School football player. While leading Crown Point the past two season from his TE spot, Cecich has been able to gain several recognitions including being named to the All-Duneland Athletic Conference and Junior All-State teams.

But parlaying that success into offers has yet to happen. Cecich boasts only one major college football offer and that is from Army. But it hasn't put a damper on Cecich's hopes of more offers to come.

"I have one offers so far and it is from Army," Zach said. "The schools showing me the most interest right now include Central Michigan, Ball State, Northern Illinois, Indiana and Bowling green."

Cecich has caught 18 passes for 350+ yards and 6 touchdowns this season for the 5-2 Bulldogs.

"My season is going well," Zach said. "We have a shot to win the Duneland Conference."

Despite hearing a lot from the Cardinals, Cecich has yet to make it down to the Indiana school. So what factors weigh the heaviest in Zach choosing a college.

"I'd say the most important factors in my decision are the education I receive and the chance to play football," Zach said.
