Orsbon looks back at his senior year

With his senior year complete, Briggs Orsbon can now concentrate full time on recruiting and also take a nice look back over his successful high school career.

Despite not making the Ohio State playoffs this season Crestview's stud athlete Briggs Orsbon has plenty to smile about. Thrust into the role of quarterback after an injury, the WR, who is being heavily recruited by Ball State and Akron among others, excelled both running and throwing the ball.

"It was an exciting senior year and we had some huge wins," Orsbon said. "We beat Bluffton for the first time in school history and we knocked off Ada and Zac Dysert."

Orsbon racked up 1,771 yards rushing and 24 tds while also throwing for 977 yards and 5 scores. Those numbers put his total career rushing yards at 3,445, but that is not all, as the do-everything athlete also posted 1,705 yards passing, 1,103 yards receiving, 15 interceptions and had a hand in 68 touchdowns during his 4 season of varsity ball inc which he broke 12 school records.

But with high school football now in the past, Orsbon must focus on where he takes his game next season. He has already made stops at several schools around the Mid American Conference and even to a few Big Ten schools, so he has a good feel of each program.

"I don't plan on making an visits as of now," Orsbon said. "But I'm looking to make my decision soon."
