LB has MAC offer and interest from Ball State

Interest is picking up for Whiteland OLB Mitch Meador. He already boasts one offer from a Mid-American Conference school as well as interest from several other MAC and Big Ten schools.

Whiteland OLB is seeing his stock rise of late as he has recently picked up an offer from Kent State. The talented OLB, who can also serve as a DE, is also getting looks from several MAC and Big 10 schools including Ball State where he will be camping in the coming weeks.

"Our team camp is at Indiana University this year," Meador said. "I look to attend a Ball State camp in the near future as well as several others. I am still working out my schedule for the summer."

Speaking of the summer, after having participated in the Nike Camp @ Ohio State, Meador has kept himself busy and in shape.

"My off season has been going well. We have been lifting and running during school and after," he said. "I have been going to the gym on my own. I also attended the Nike Camp on May 9th at Ohio State University and was invited and attended the All American Combine in Cincinnati on May 17, 2008."

What does Meador think of one of the schools that is interested in him: Ball State.

"Yes, I am interested in Ball State," Meador said. "I attended the Spring Game. Nice campus and football facility."

With schools like, Kent, Ball State, Iowa, Indiana, Cincinnati, Vanderbilt, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Miami of Ohio and Northern Illinois looking at him, what will be the major factor in his decision?

"A place that is comfortable for me and I can make a difference playing football and the school can provide me an education in my desired field of study."

Stay tuned to as we track Mitch's recruiting journey.
