Freytag has BSU offer, stops 1 day camp tour

Carmel, IN boasts several D1 caliber players on their roster. One such player, Kurt Freytag, holds two offers from Mid American Conference schools.

Already holding two offers – Ball State and Eastern Michigan – Carmel FB/TE prospect Kurt Freytag is putting the breaks on the camp tour per his high school coach Mo Moriarity.

"Several schools want him to attend their 1 day camps," Coach Moriarity said. "But I think he is not going to do anymore at this time."

So does that mean Freytag is leaning towards going with his offer from Ball State? That we do not know, but what we do know is that the Cardinals' coach staff have to be in love with Freytag's mixture of size, explosiveness and work ethic. The same elements that already have the Cardinal faithful falling in love with him.

"Kurt is a great kid that loves football," Coach Moriarity said. "He is a very hard worker and a great leader. He is a very physical player. He is over 6-2 and 230 and has a 32" vertical."

Stay tuned to as we continue to follow Kurt's progress.
