Tampa Gaither Coach Mark Kantor can say nothing but positive things about his stud TE Justin Lattimore. That is because there is nothing bad he can say. "He is a great individual to be around," Kantor said. "He always has a smile on his face. He is one of the hardest workers in the weightroom and at practice. He is a quite leader." Those qualities have several colleges licking their chops over the bright young man along with his athleticism and 6-3 215 (and still growing) frame. "Right now he has offers from Middle Tennessee State, Miami of Ohio and Ball State," Kantor said. "He is getting interest from UAB, Memphis, Georgia and Temple." Another quality that Kantor points to is his TE's ability to become a different animal on the field than his pleasant demeanor off. "His strength is that he is physical," Kantor said. "He is strong too. He hang cleans 235, Dead lifts 505, squats 405 and benches 265." Kantor says that he really likes all of the schools that are looking at him now and has his main priority of find an institution to play at where he can expand academically. "He is looking at academics first," Kantor said when asked what will be Justin's deciding factor. "He wants a degree because he understands that this is not forever. Plus, he wants a place that feels like home." So, what does Justin know about Ball State. "He has done research on Ball State," Kantor said. "I am not sure when he will be visiting though."
