The Gainesville, FL WR ran a 4.28 40 during the summer and that speed along with some very impressive playmaking skills earned Brown a scholarship offer from Ball State, an offer he recently accepted.
"I really like the coaches up there," Brown said. "Coach (Eddie) Faulkner, I really like him a lot, and Coach (Darrell) Funk. They really persude me really hard. They kept in touch with me during the entire process."
Brown is electrifying, when you watch his film, you see a player capable of making people miss and also the big play capability to take it to the house with every touch. Brown, who plans on playing WR and also returning kicks, spoke a little bit about what he brings to the table.
"I bring a lot of aggressiveness," he said. "I bring speed and quickness. I bring playmaking capabilities. I bring a lot to the table."
Brown only had one other scholarship offer, from FCS school Missouri State, but his on field skills make it unbelievable that he has been slept on to this point.
Brown's Gainesville team, which boasts a lot of division 1 talent, is looking to make it to the Florida State Playoffs, they are excelling on the field this season under the tutalege of a first year head coach in Ryan Smith.
