Ball State hosted another big recruiting weekend this past weekend as it hosted 5 already committed players as well as 4 players who have yet to commit. In the end, the Cardinals got some big surprises.
What started off as another very important recruiting weekend for Ball State ended as a very very fruitful one as the Cardinals picked up 3 new verbal committments including 2 that visited this weekend and one major committment from a past visitor.
First off, the major news, BallStateInsider.com has learned that the Cardinals have landed Travis Freeman, the OLB from football powerhouse Glenville High School in Cleveland.
But that is not all.
The Cardinals also landed 2 more verbal committments from weekend visitors in Freeman's Glenville teammate Theon Dixon and East Chicago Central OL Matthew Page. The third uncommitted visitor from this weekend was North Dakota State commit and product of Beaver Dam High School in Wisconsin, Hank Jacobs - also an OL.
