Ball State adds second Walk On Guard

Per The Muncie Star Press, Ball State and Head Coach Bill Taylor has offered a preferred walk on spot to Delta High School PG Skyler Case.

Skyler Case chose to be a part of the Ball State Cardinal's rebuilding men's basketball program yesterday as a preferred walk on over offers to play at Anderson, Goshen and Hanover Colleges.

Case, who averaged 12 points and 4.5 assists a game last season for the Eagles understands the road ahead of him as a walk on player.

"I'm not expecting to see any time," Case told The Star Press. "I'm just going to go in there work hard every day and see where that takes me."

Case becomes the fourth Delta player to suit up for the Cardinals in the last decade joining Patrick Jackson, Rob Robbins and Billy Lynch.

The PG is the second preferred walk on to give Taylor their commitment joining 6-2 SG Zach Harrison of Terre Haute North High School.

This brings the official class of 2009 to 5 players - including the 2 walk ons who join SG/SF Myron Green Jr. (Carson, Calif./Dominguez), PG Huzie Humbrite (Indianapolis/Lake Land College), SG Jauwan Scaife of Central High School as well as Mississippi State transfer Terrance Watson.
