Ball State 1-day Football Camps approaching

The Ball State annual 1-Day Football Camp series is set to kick off again this summer starting on June 7th with 4 locations to choose from for prospective athletes.

Typically one of the best College Football Camps in the Midwest. The Ball State 1-Day Camp Series will again kick off the summer with a series of day long camps at each of 4 locations in June.

The series will start on June 7th at Indianapolis Pike High School followed by June 9th at Fort Wayne Snider, June 12th and Scheumann Stadium on the campus of Ball State University and closing out with a June 14th camp at Crown Point High School in the Indiana Suburbs of Chicago.

Rates for the camp are $45 per player. Teams with over 25 campers will be $40 a player. Walk up registrations are accepted but a signed medical form must be brought to the camp.

Each camp will begin at 1 pm local time and will run until 8:20 pm. Schedules included On Field Instruction, Drills as well as individual insutruction at each position.

Campers are instructed to bring helmet with mouthpiece, jersey, shoulder pads, cleats and tennis shoes and workout clothing. Please note that campers must have their own medical insurance to attend.

Ball State camps are always regarded in high esteem thanks to the hands on instruction you get from the Ball State Staff but also from coaches throughout the midwest who will be in attendence. The Cardinal staff includes Head Coach Stan Parrish, who is a long time offensive coordiator as well as QB coach that has coached the likes of Tom Brady at Michigan, Nate Davis at Ball State and also was a member of the coaching staff of the Super Bowl Champion Tampa Bay Bucanneers. Also on hand will be long time defensive backs coach and former NFL Defensive Coordinator Doug Graber (now the Cardinals DC), Ball State assistants and former Wisconsin Badgers Eddie Faulkner and Jason Eck, WR coach and former Ball State QB Joey Lynch, DE coach and former Miami of Ohio DC Jay Hood as well as seasoned assistants Deion Melvin (LB coach - formerly of Bowling Green), Phil Burnett (long time D-line coach at Ball State), John Powers (TE coach) and Daryl Dixon (Secondary coach and former All-SEC player for the Florida Gators). The Ball State staff will be joined by coaches from Dayton, Butler, Eastern Illinois, Grand Valley State, Southern Illinois, Western Illinois, Rose Hulman, Franklin College and many more.

Specialists, please note that a specialist camp for kickers, punters and long snappers will be held at each location of the Ball State camp tour.
