Columbus athletes take in Ball State

Ball State had 2 more visitors on Thursday including one that boasts and offer.

Columbus, Indiana has quickly become a hot spot for college coaches over the past few years as both schools in the city have begun to churn out talent.

This year is no different, and Ball State is really taking notice, as Thursday saw two of the top players from the area make visits to see the Cardinals in spring practice.

One player, Columbus North's Keenan Noel, officially picked up an offer from the Ball State coaches during his visit. Noel, a 6-1 240 athlete that has played multiple positions as a prep, projects as a TE/H-Back/FB hybrid that can split out or line up in the backfield, a position the Cardinals use a lot of in their offense.

Also in town was Columbus East's Shane Henderson. The 6-1 185 WR is a shifty and effective playmaker who surely is high on the Cardinals radar.

Stay tuned to the as we get set for the Spring Game on Saturday.
