Ryan Anderson and Lonnie Jackson made decisions on Monday. Both will leave the west coast and head to Boston College.
It's clear that Steve Donahue and his staff at Boston College
are focused on recruiting the west coast.
Boston College already held a pledge from Kyle Caudill, a native of California. On Monday they added two more -- Ryan Anderson and Lonnie Jackson -- from the most populated state.
Anderson, a 6-foot-8 face up four man out of Long Beach (Calif.) Polytech, was the first of the two to give a verbal commitment to the Boston College coaching staff.
Jackson, a 6-foot-3, 165-pound guard out of Valencia (Calif.) High, followed shortly after. Jackson's father confirmed the news to Los Angeles Time reporter Eric Sondheimer
"I'm the ultimate Laker fan, but this is business and life," Jackson's father, Lance, told the paper. "It's a good California story. They're all friends."
To go with Caudill, Anderson and Jackson also join Dennis Clifford and Eddie Odio to make up their current 2011 recruiting class.
