No. 99 To Auburn

Cedrick McAfee made his pick. This time around, after visiting Auburn he's headed to the SEC.

The second time is a charm. A few short weeks ago, Cedrick McAfee made a brief commitment to Florida International. On Sunday, he reversed course and picked a nearby SEC school.

"Cedrick McAfee to Auburn," Memphis Select coach William Rhodes told Scout.com.

McAfee, a veteran of last summer's NBA Top 100 Camp, checks in at No. 99 on the Scout.com Top 100. A combo by trade, he's No. 27 on the shooting guard list. He plays for Memphis Melrose, one of the top high school teams in the nation.

Baylor, FIU and Auburn were in the race.

"I committed to Auburn and the visit was really good," he told Inside the Auburn Tigers. "I made the decision to go to Auburn because Coach (Tony) Barbee and Coach (Tony) Madlock had been recruiting me for two years and I feel that is where I will fit in best. I am really excited about playing for them."

The Tigers also have Bernard Morena and Willy Kouassi in this year's recruiting class.
