Space Looking At Three

Antwan Space currently has three schools on his list. He's visit one, has another set and will try and see the third school prior to making his college choice.

Antwan Space, one of the summer's biggest risers, is looking at three schools.

"I have it down to Arkansas, Florida State and Maryland," the top 100 prospect told

Space, a 6-foot-8 combo forward out of De Soto (Tex.) High, has already taken a visit to Arkansas. Now he'll trip to Florida State soon.

"I'm going to Florida State on Thursday night," Space said. "So I'm going there this weekend and I'm probably going to try and go to Maryland sometime afterwards."

According to Space, Arkansas has made a move for him. His visit to Fayetteville (Ark.) went extremely well and they are currently at the stop of his list.

"Arkansas is still a slight leader over everybody because I've been there," he said. "I haven't been to any of the other schools. I have a good relationship with all the coaches and all the players."

"[I liked] the whole environment," he added. "I love Fayetteville. I love coach Tom [Ostrom] and coach [John] Pelphrey. I like all the players and me and B.J. Young have already hit it off and we are real cool. Everything about Arkansas was cool."

Now the Seminoles will get a chance to make their case for Space, a four-star prospect.

"I'm looking forward to going to Florida State," Space said. "I already know coach [Leonard] Hamilton and coach [Corey] Williams."

"With Florida State I love coach Hamilton and coach Williams," he added. "They were talking to me about how they have a player that is going to be a lottery pick and I remind them of him."

Although he hasn't set up a trip to Maryland, Space is hoping to head up College Park (Md.) in the near future.

"Maryland just has a good program," Space said. "They are in the ACC. I have a pretty good relationship with coach Bino [Ranson], but I haven't really talked to the head coach yet.

"I just know they have a good program, great history and they have a NCAA national championship and they have countless players in the league."

As far as a timetable goes, Space is looking to end his recruitment in the near future.

"I want to end this kind of soon," the No. 76 prospect said. "I'm not trying to drag this on during the year. I want to be focused. I just got my ACT score back and they were good enough. I was happy about that. I got one of my goals out of the way."

"Now I just need to start worrying about class and my senior season. I want to try and win state this year. I kind of want to get all of that college stuff out of the way."
