Chandler Takes Trip, Sets Others

Michael Chandler will take his second Big East visit in as many weeks this coming weekend. He'll then visit an A-10 power.

Michael Chandler is on the visit trail.

This past weekend the 7-footer from Indianapolis (Ind.) Lawrence North visited with Bob Huggins and West Virginia.

"It was a real good visit," Chandler told Scout.com. "I got to chill with the players. They were all cool people. I went and checked out the campus and Morgantown. It went pretty good."

Next up for Chandler is Providence. He'll take the trip up north this coming weekend for their midnight madness festivities.

"I like the coaching staff," Chandler said. "They've been recruiting me for a long time, so I figured I'd go and check them out. They've been recruiting me and I have to pay those kind of schools a visit."

Following the trip to Providence, Chandler said he'll taken an official visit to Xavier. That is the last visit he has set up.

To go with interest from West Virginia and Providence, Chandler also has interest from Connecticut, Indiana, Purdue and DePaul.

"There have been a lot of schools calling me," he said. "I'm just listening to the schools seeing what they have to offer."

"There are a lot of good schools recruiting me, but I don't really have a favorite," Chandler added. "I'm just listening to what they have to offer and take visits."

As far as making a decision the four-star prospect isn't quite sure when he'll decide. He even said it's possible he wait until the spring.

"Honestly I don't even know," he said. "It could be now. It could be later. I just want to see what situation is best for me."
