Cousinard To Take First Visit

Houston Yates swingman Prince Cousinard remains unsigned. However, the former Houston Hoops player is hitting the visit trail this week.

Shockers To Host Recruit

Prince Cousinard had a fine senior sendoff season in Houston. After a spring and summer as a secondary scoring option with the Houston Hoops, Cousinard took on a much more of scoring role this season.

"With the Houston Hoops nobody could really see his scoring punch," Prince Cousinard, his father said. "He ended up averaging about 25 points a game this year."

Baylor, Auburn, Miami and Wichita State have shown interest. Wichita State will receive Cousinard's first official visit of the year. He'll make a trip to see the Shockers beginning this Thursday.

"At first there was a lot of rumors that he wasn't going to qualify," Cousinard's father said. "A lot of people don't know that he's in the process of qualifying. When the season came, he started putting up some remarkable numbers."
