Dunking Duo: Amare Stoudemire and Sani Ibrahim appeared as if they really enjoyed playing next to each other as they helped the Atlanta Celtics drub Team Mauldin from South Carolina. When the dunking stopped, Ibrahim and Stoudemire had combined for 9 jams as their team won 82-71.
Raptors Roll: Junior big man Jackie Butler doesn't arrive in Atlanta until Friday, but on Thursday the Southeast Raptors didn't need him. Chadd Moore and his friends rolled Mark Trail, 82-71. A new player on the scene for the Raptors is swingman Sam Richardson. The big-time athlete has some offense, especially from the perimeter. He says Auburn, Mississippi State and Louisiana State are presently recruiting him.
Ford Says Hargrave Is For Him: Atlanta Celtics PG Michael Ford said that he'll be attending Hargrave Military Academy next season. Ford says he's hearing from Clemson, Cincinnati and Georgetown. Once considered just a shooter, Ford has obviously been focusing on his point guard skills and has expanded his game.
