2013 Nunn Has Early Interest

Kendrick Nunn, a highly touted sophomore guard, had a strong showing in Deerfield this past weekend at the Pangos All-Midwest Frosh/Soph camp.

Throughout the summer Kendrick Nunn was an underclassman name that kept coming up.

While Anthony Davis was the hot name for the Meanstreets 17's team, Nunn, a 6-foot-1 combo guard out of Chicago (Ill.) Simeon, was the buzz name for their 15's squad.

"The summer went great," Nunn said. "I played a lot of basketball and got a lot better. We had a lot of players. Even the bench players could come in and play well."

"I'm a good slasher and I can shoot the ball and I can score the ball," he said when asked to describe his game.

Although it's early the talented sophomore has a pair of scholarship offers – St. Louis and Ohio. He's also heard from Ohio State and Arizona.

"I've been hearing from a lot of schools lately," Nunn said. "I'm just trying to get more looks."

To date, Nunn has taken a pair of unofficial visits. He went buy Ohio and Ohio State.

"We first took a trip to Ohio University and we didn't have a ton of time so we did a little quick tour [of Ohio State]."
