Moss Will Be A Gator
PF Adrian Moss of Fork Union Military Academy got it done. With the help of a lawyer whom he said he certainly needed, Moss received a partial release from his letter of intent with Southwest Texas State. Shortly thereafter, he made a college decision.
"I'm going to Florida," Moss said. "I just have to sign a paper then I have to appeal to the board of national letter of intent to get the full and complete release."
Right now, Moss' release says that he can attend Florida but will have to sitout next season and have three years of eligibility remaining. However, there's a catch.
"They [Southwest Texas State] can't grant me a full and unconditional release. But, they can help out. The can write a letter." Moss is hoping Southwest Texas State does just that and tells the NCAA to support him in his battle to play next season.
"It really hasn't hit me yet because everything happened so fast. It's nice just to be a kid again."
Upon receiving his partial release, he made a visit to Texas Tech to see The General. Moss then visited Gainesville where promptly committed to the Gators. He also considered Kentucky but Florida really did it for him.
"They press and run so I think I'll be at the head of their press. Hopefully, I can contribute."
Not a bad June 26 addition for the Gators who lost Kwame Brown to the NBA draft.
