There have been rumblings for quite some time that Myck Kabongo
could open up his recruitment.
On Saturday the Henderson (Nev.) Findlay Prep standout made it official, decommitting from Rick Barnes and Texas.
Findlay assistant coach Todd Simon confirmed the news to Scout.com.
"Myck has decommitted from Texas," Simon said. "He is considering Texas, Duke, North Carolina, Kentucky and Syracuse."
Kabongo is rated at the No. 2 point guard on Scout.com and is a five-star prospect.
