Curtis Lincoln Considering Alternatives

The #10-ranked point guard on the west coast, Curtis Lincoln from Portland, is one of the quickest and most athletic players for his size in the region. He gave us some insight into his recruiting...

We spoke with Curtis Lincoln, 5-11 PG Portland (OR) Jefferson, recently and he told us that Stanford, UCLA, Portland St., Oregon and Oklahoma are some of the schools showing interest in him.

We asked Curtis his thoughts on staying close to home and he said, "I'd like to go away and see what's out there."

Does he have a leader yet? "No," said Lincoln. "I'm open at this point."

Lincoln cited early playing time, the relationship between a coach and his players, good weather and an up-tempo style of play as factors he would consider when making his decision.

Lincoln told us that Michigan was his favorite team when he was younger.

He will play for ICP this summer and plans on signing in the fall. He said that he currently has a 2.5 GPA.
