Davis Goes With Big East School

Jeremiah Davis, an Indiana native, made his college choice on Saturday. He'll play in the Big East.

Jeremiah Davis made it official on Saturday.

Known as a Cincinnati lean for the past few weeks, the Huntington (W.V.) Prep standout finally made the call, giving Cincinnati and Mick Cronin a verbal pledge.

"Coach Cronin is a great coach and a great motivator and I think I can thrive in that system," Davis told Scout.com about his commitment to Cincinnati.

To go along with interest from Cincinnati, Ball State and a handful of other programs dabbled with the talented combo guard. He took an official visit to Cincinnati a couple of weeks ago.

"It was great," he said of his visit to Cincinnati. "I loved it over there. I had fun with the players. It was good."

Davis, a three-star prospect, is Cincinnati's fifth commitment of the 2011 class. He joins Jermaine Sanders, Shaquille Thomas, Octavious Ellis and Ge-Lawn Guyn.
