Kansas or Missouri For McLemore

Ben McLemore is one of the few remaining top 100 talents still uncommitted. He's down to a pair a Big 12 programs.

Ben McLemore's recruitment is nearing its end.

With his list down to Kansas and Missouri, McLemore is set to make his college choice in the next month or so.

"I'm going to try and make my decision sometime this month," McLemore told Scout.com. "When I go back home for Christmas break I'm going to talk to my mom."

"Over Christmas break I'm just going to talk to my mom and get it over with so I can stay focused on school and basketball season," he added.

McLemore, a four-star prospect, has taken official visits to both of his remaining schools.

McLemore broke down each school involved. With Kansas, he said he feels comfortable with their program.

"I like a lot about Kansas," he said. "Bill Self is a great man and a great coach. When I went on my visit I felt very comfortable with the players and the coaches when I hung out with them. They showed me different places in Lawrence and I had a good time."

The Mouth of Wilson (Va.) Oak Hill standout is familiar with some of the players at Missouri and he's built a strong relationship with Mike Anderson.

"I already know some of the players and I got to know them better," McLemore said. "Coach Mike Anderson is a good coach. I like his style of play and that they get up and down the court."

McLemore ranks No. 34 overall in Scout.com's top 100.
