Jankovic Starting To Develop Favorites

Stefan Jankovic has a couple of schools, including Wake Forest, that are starting to standout in his recruitment. He'll take a couple of visits in the near future.

Over the past few months Stefan Jankovic has seen his recruitment step up.

A native of Canada, Jankovic said he's been a known name, but now coaches are starting to see him play and that has led to increased interest.

"It has [picked up] compared to the beginning of the year and the summer, it's picked up a lot," Jankovic said of his recruitment.

"People have known a little bit [about me], but they hadn't really been able to see me play and I hadn't played at huge events," he added. "Now they are starting to see me more and more."

Wake Forest is the only school that has offered Jankovic, a 6-foot-10, 205-pound big man, up to this point. Plenty of other high major programs have shown strong interest in the Huntington (W.V.) Prep standout.

"Right now I've had a good amount of schools show interest, but a top list would be Wake Forest, Kansas, West Virginia, Miami, Georgetown and USC."

He also mentioned that Wake Forest is among the schools starting to separate themselves at the top of his list.

"It's early, but I have favorites," Jankovic said. "Like Wake Forest to me has shown the most love. Syracuse has shown love too, Kansas, Miami, West Virginia and Pitt too."

Jankovic, a four-star prospect, has already taken unofficial visits to West Virginia and Pittsburgh. He's set to take a couple more visits in the coming weeks.

"I'm going to be making two visits in the next two weeks," Jankovic said. "I'm going to go to Syracuse and Wake Forest."

Jankovic is ranked No. 50 overall in the 2012 class.
