Bronson Koenig has had a handful of high major schools come in to see him this season. The talented guard updated Scout.com on his season and recruitment.

Bronson Koenig, a guard prospect out of La Crosse (Wisc.) Aguinas is off to a strong start to his sophomore season.

The 6-foot-2, 160-pound guard is averaging 16.7 points per game for Aquinas, who sits 7-1 early in the season.

"The high school season has been going all right," Koenig told Scout.com. "We only lost two seniors from last year that really played. We have a lot of talent on our team."

When asked to describe his game, Koenig said he's a guy that get into the lane and create opportunities for himself and teammates.

"When I'm doing my best I do everything well," he said. "I get in the lane and get out in transition and find an open teammate. I can knock down shots inside and out. I will penetrate into the middle and find an open teammate."

Already Koenig has had Kansas, Marquette, Minnesota, North Carolina, Virginia, Washington State and Wisconsin in to see him. While Marquette and Wisconsin have stepped up with offers.

"I'm taking it all in," he said of the recruiting process. "I'm not thinking about it too much. I'm just worried about my high school season."

Thus far Koenig has taken unofficial visits to Marquette and Wisconsin. He's hoping to get to North Carolina in the near future.

"I'm planning to take a visit to North Carolina," he said. "We are still trying to figure out a date, but they've talked to me about figuring that out."

Despite the early interest, Koenig said he's barely thought about the recruiting process.
