AROUND THE NATION -- Shaquille Cleare had the biggest game of the week as he went for 31 points and 21 rebounds in a win. Anthony Davis, Tony Wroten and Wayne Blackshear also had big outings.

Illinois commit Mycheal Henry helped Chicago (Ill.) Orr to a win over Chicago (Ill.) Farragut. The senior top 100 prospect scored 15 points and snagged eight boards in the 67-54 win.'s top prospect Anthony Davis continues his personal tear. Davis, a Kentucky signee went for 24 points, 14 rebounds and a half dozen blocks. Perspectives scored a 58-32 win over Illinois Tech.

Louisville signee Wayne Blackshear has put up ridiculous numbers all season. On Tuesday he scored 31 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and swatted five shots in Chicago (Ill.) Morgan Park's win over Chicago (Ill.) Gage Park.

Gary Bell, a Gonzaga signee, torched Seattle (Wash.) Auburn last night for 30 points, six rebounds and five steals in a 61-51 win. The Seattle (Wash.) Kentridge senior has led the Chargers to a 8-4 record.

Top 30 prospect and Washington signee Tony Wroten went for 29 points in Seattle (Wash.) Garfield's 89-55 win over Seattle (Wash.) Issaquah.

Late last week Josh Gomez, of New York (N.Y.) Rice, had a triple-double against Gonzaga. He scored 18 points, blocked 11 shots and had 10 rebounds. He's a 6-foot-9 uncommitted senior.

Late blooming 6-foot-9 combo forward Otto Porter scored 30 points and grabbed 15 rebounds last week in the championship game of the Southeast Missourian Christmas tournament.

On Monday D'Angelo Harrison pumped out 21 points, 12 rebounds and five assists in a 12-point loss to Marshall. Olu Olushola led the way for Marshall.

Shaquille Cleare put together a monster outing in a 67-58 win over Hightower. The Houston (Tex.) Village School standout went for 31 points and 21 rebounds.

Creighton signee Geoffrey Groselle scored 24 points and grabbed 17 rebounds as Plano (Tex.) West knocked off Allen by a score of 64-51 to improve their record to 17-5.

Perry Ellis went for 21 points in front of a pair of high major college coaches. Jeff Capel and John Calipari were both in attendance for Wichita (Kans.) Height's win on Tuesday.

Shabazz Muhammad and Rosco Allen were big for Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman on Tuesday. Muhammad scored a game-high 27 points, while Allen went for 21 points and six rebounds in the 75-53 win over Las Vegas (Nev.) Western.

Top 20 guard Gary Harris scored a game-high 23 points in a 62-51 win over Fishers (Ind.) High. The 6-foot-5 guard knocked down two three-pointers in the game.

Omar Calhoun scored 19 points, including 11 in the fourth quarter in Middle (N.Y.) Christ The King's victory over Archbishop Molloy.

Highly regarded lead guard L.J. Rose scored 13 points and tossed out seven assists in Houston (Tex.) Second Baptist's 48-43 overtime win over Houston (Tex.) St. Thomas.

Rasheed Sulaimon led Houston (Tex.) Strake Jesuit to a 20-point win over CHSA on Tuesday. The 6-foot-3 guard went for 20 points.

While four-star recruit Marcus Smart scored just two points, 5-foot-10 lead guard Phil Forte took over for Flower Mound (Tex.) Marcus in a 60-37 win over Plano. Forte scored 33 points in the win.

Led by super sophomore Jabari Parker and talented junior Steve Taylor, Chicago (Ill.) Simeon knocked off Julian by a score of 108 – 59. Parker scored 20 points and grabbed eight boards. Taylor had 16 points and 15 rebounds.

Indianapolis (Ind.) Lawrence North go the victory, but it was Indiana commit and 2013 prospect Devin Davis that scored a game-high 25 points for Indianapolis (Ind.) Warren Central.

Sophomores Jordan Mickey and Kendal Harris combined for 35 points as Richardson (Tex.) Berkner knocked off W.T. White 72-57. Mickey scored a game-high 18 points.

In a 58-55 win over Colleyville (Tex.) Heritage, Keith Frazier, of Irving (Tex.) High, scored 28 points.
