"I'm looking for the best fit for me and the place that is the best for me," Ajayi told Scout.com. "I want to play right away."
Ajayi, whose brother lives in New Jersey, took an unofficial visit to Seton Hall this past weekend.
"I just went to Seton Hall for an unofficial," he said. "I watched the game on Sunday when Seton Hall played Syracuse."
"Seton Hall is really nice and I like it," he added. "I like the way they play. They are private school and they have a good business management school, which is what I want to major in."
The next step is for Ajayi to take a few other visits, but he's yet to set up a date.
"I think I should take another visit very soon," he said. "Either this month or next month to LMU."
According to his high school coach Isaac Pitts, Ajayi is a guy that keeps improving and can really impose his will on the backboard.
"The kid has a high motor," Pitts said. "His motor is probably revved up as high as any big man I've ever seen. He's a glass eater. He rebounds the ball extremely well above the rim."
"He knows his job is to rebound," he added. "His low post game is getting better. He knows he needs to keep working on it."
Ajayi doesn't have a time frame on when he'll announce his college choice.
