Interest Piles Up For Warren

T.J. Warren, a member of's 2012 top 75, updated his school list and talked about a recent trip to a Big East program.

T.J. Warren made a change this year. The 2012 prospect moved from Durham (N.C.) Riverside over to Raleigh (N.C.) Word of God.

Just 15 games into his junior season Warren appears to have things under control at his new school.

"The season is going good," Warren told "We are 14 – 1 right now. We are doing good. Just trying to keep it up."

"I've been playing real good," he added. "I'm averaging like 17 points a game. Just trying to keep the pace going."

Warren, a 6-foot-6, 185-pound small forward, is a big bodied wing that can score in a variety of ways. He's equipped with solid athleticism, an impressive jump shot and a lot of raw ability.

"I'm just an all around scorer," Warren explained. "Some people compare me to Carmelo [Anthony]. I get that a lot. I'm just a scorer and I'm versatile."

On the recruiting front, it appears to be still early in Warren's process, but he does have plenty of interest.

Currently Warren claims offers from Tennessee, Miami, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, Memphis, N.C. State, Xavier and Indiana. He also mentioned interest from Georgetown Duke, Florida, Ohio State and Arizona State.

Warren, who checks in at No. 10 at the small forward position in the 2012 class, recently took an unofficial visit to a Big East school.

"I went up to Georgetown when they played DePaul a couple of weeks ago," he said. "It was nice. I really enjoyed it."

Warren made it clear that he's not rushing his college choice. He said he will likely make his decision just prior to his senior season.

"I'm just wide open right now," Warren admitted.
