Zena Edosomwan, 6-8 JR PF/C North Hollywood (Calif.) Harvard-Westlake, is a promising young post prospect that has shown a great deal of improvement in the past couple years. A good athlete, Edosomwan is a solid defender and rebounder with a developing offensive game. He's got a nice feel for the game and he competes very well. With continued development, he has a chance to be among the top posts in the west for 2012.

I spoke with Edosomwan recently and he told me that he's primarily involved with five schools at the moment.

"USC, Colorado and Harvard have offered," said Edosomwan. "And UCLA and Arizona State have been calling."

I asked Edosomwan what he is looking for in a school.

"Good academics and a great basketball tradition," said Edosomwan. "The location doesn't really matter. If the coach and situation is right, then I will go anywhere. Early playing time is important, but I'm not going to base everything on it. I was behind Eric Swoope here and had to wait my turn to play."

I asked Edosomwan if he has taken any unofficial visits.

"I went to USC and talked with Coach O'Neil," said Edosomwan. "I'm hoping to go to Harvard soon for a visit and possibly to Arizona State this spring."

Edosomwan isn't in a hurry to pick a school.

"I'll probably decide early in my senior year," said Edosomwan.

Edosomwan said he has a 3.5 GPA.
