Chol To Stay On West Coast

Four-star prospect and highly regarded big man Angelo Chol recently made his college decision. He announced his pick at a press conference at his school on Thursday.

At a press conference at San Diego (Calif.) Hoover, Angelo Chol, one of the few remaining top 100 prospects, announced his college decision.'s No. 43 prospect chose Arizona, becoming the fourth top 100 prospect in the 2011 class to do so.

To go with his official visit to Arizona, the four-star prospect also took trips to Washington, Alabama, North Carolina and Kansas. He eliminated Washington and Alabama earlier in the week.

Chol joins an already impressive class that includes five-star guard Josiah Turner and four-star prospects Nick Johnson and Sidiki Johnson.

Through 28 games this season, Chol is averaging 23.4 points, 14.8 rebounds and 8.1 blocked shots per outing. Chol has 39 made three-pointer and is shooting 36-percent from behind the three-point stripe.

The 6-foot-9 is just 10 points shy of 2,000 for his high school career. He is ranked No. 2 all-time in California for rebounds.
