B.C. Mines California Again

Boston College may be on the east coast, but their 2011 recruiting class is west coast dominate. They picked up another prospect from California on Friday.

Boston College already had three signees in their 2011 class from California. On Friday they added a fourth to the fold.

Jordan Daniels, a senior standout at Etiwanda (Calif.) High, gave Steve Donahue and his staff a verbal commitment. Daniels confirmed the news with Scout.com.

"I chose to go ahead and commit to BC because after praying about it and talking to my family , God made me feel like it was the right thing to do," Daniels said.

"I like the coaching staff and how they've come about recruiting me, and the school has good history," he added. "I also have spoken to Ryan [Anderson] and he also made me feel comfortable about the decision."

Daniels, a 5-foot-10 lead guard, is Boston College's sixth overall commitment in the 2011.

He joins three three-star prospects in Lonnie Jackson, Ryan Anderson and Kyle Caudill, as well as Eddie Odio and Dennis Clifford.
