Overall it was a good season for Roberts. While his team just was eliminated from the state tournament, he still showed off the skills that make him one of the more heavily recruited prospects in the state of Florida.
"This year I had a good season," said Roberts. "I don't remember my exact average but I think I got like 18 points per game. I had a couple of bad games, but I was able to overcome it and overall I had a good season."
Roberts continued, "I have always been a scorer. I am at my best shooting the mid-range jumper, but I also feel comfortable out to the three point line."
Recruiting wise things have been going well for Roberts. He first got attention playing with the Florida Rams during the month of July, and continued it during the high school season. Now he is hearing numerous high-major schools in the Southeast.
While he still isn't all that focused on his recruitment, Roberts does know what he will be looking for in a school when the time comes to make a decision.
"I look for the location of the school," Roberts explained. "I don't want to stay too close to home. Also I look at the campus, the facilities, and how much fan support the teams have."
For now Roberts is simply focused on getting better, and is looking forward to having a big spring and summer with the Florida Rams.
