JUCO forward picks West Virginia

Bob Huggins and his staff added another member to their 2011 recruiting class. This time they went to the Junior College ranks.

West Virginia added a Junior College prospect to their 2011 class.

Dominic Rutledge, a native of New Jersey, has committed to the Mountaineers, according to a report by the West Virginia Metro News, after stints at Hutchinson Community College, Miami Dade and now Western Texas.

"I've been really interested in West Virginia for a long time," Rutledge told the newspaper. "I've always been a big fan of West Virginia basketball and when I got the opportunity to be recruited by them I just jumped right on it."

Bob Huggins' 2011 class now extends to six prospects. Rutledge, a 6-foot-8 power forward, joins four-star prospect Jabarie Hinds, as well as Keaton Miles, Tommie McCune, Aaron Brown and Pat Forsythe.

Rutledge will have two years of eligibility at West Virginia.
