Law Making A Name For Himself

For the past few seasons, the Houston SuperStars have been one of the most successful AAU programs on the circuit. However, TJ Ford and Daniel Ewing have graduated and in turn the SuperStars are in a bit of a rebuilding phase. One of the key pieces on this year's team is SF Richard Law.

2nd Team All-Stater Draws Interest

Houston (TX) Clear Lake is home to Richard Law, one of the standouts on the Houston SuperStars team. The 6-6 Law knows how to play. In fact, he's very versatile. Law has himself a reliable stroke to 3-point land and a great feel for the game. Passing is an art and Law's been well schooled in that area.

Last year, he was a second team all-stater and 1st team all-region performer. He averaged 22 points and 10 boards for Clear Lake. He shot 41% from behind the arc and 81% at the line. Not too shabby.

New Mexico, Colorado State, Tulsa, Auburn, Houston, Texas Tech and Tennessee are recruiting him. He has offers from Auburn and Colorado State but says there is no pressure to commit soon. "I'm just going to go out there and play; I don't feel any pressure."

Academically, Law is a standout in the classroom as well. He has a qualifying SAT score to go along with a 3.2 GPA. He'll attend the adidas ABCD Camp and then go with the SuperStars to the Three Stripes Best of the Best and then to Las Vegas for the Big Time.

"I just need to get a little better and go up against good competition that you don't get against the regular high school kids.
