Michigan Adds Pivot Man

For the last few years, Michigan has been trying to stock up on post players. This could be the breakthrough year for the Wolverines at that position. On July 4, the Wolverines landed a commitment from the first post player of the Amaker Era. Graham Brown pledged his allegiance to the Ann Arbor program.

Brown To Michigan

Graham Brown, a 6-9 post player from Mio High School in Michigan, committed to the Wolverines on July 4. Graham could not be reached for comment as he's already departed for the Nike All-American Camp in Indianapolis.

Brown plays AAU basketball for Speedy Walker and The Family. He was a standout at the Boo Williams event in April. He recently turned 16 and has plenty of potential. Vince Baldwin of Prepspotlight.com raves about his future.

"Brown is a very athletic big man who runs and jumps extremely well," Baldwin said. "He has outstanding hands and is fearless in the paint when going to the glass. He has emerged as one of the summers biggest sleepers and is still growing." Baldwin ranks him as the No. 7 player in the state of Michigan.
