2013 Intro: Riley Dearing

Riley Dearing, a 2013 prospect out of Minnesota, has high major programs tracking him already.

When Marquis Watts talks about Riley Dearing the first thing that comes to his mind is his ability to make plays.

Watts, who runs Net Gain Sports out of Minnesota, said the 2013 guard prospect is among the top underclassman prospects in the area.

"He's a playmaker," Watts told Scout.com. "At the next level he's going to be a combo. The thing that makes him different is that he can flat out shoot the ball."

"He's a high major kid," he added. "There's no question about it."

Watts said Dearing averaged just over 10 points a game for De La Salle.

"He's a great on the ball defender," he said. "He can handle it, score it, shoot it and play a couple of spots."

Already Dearing has swung by Wisconsin, Minnesota and Northern Iowa for unofficial visits.

"He's had Arizona State, Washington State, Virginia, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Creighton [come on] as well."
