Abell picks Indiana

It didn't take Remy Abell long to find a new home. After getting out of his Letter of Intent, Abell has decided to play at Indiana.

Indiana added a third member to their 2011 class.

Already holding Letter of Intents from five-star prospect Cody Zeller and Austin Etherington, Indiana picked up three-star guard Remy Abell on Wednesday.

Abell, a talented 6-foot-3 combo guard out of Louisville (Ky.) Eastern, originally signed with Bradley, but backed out of his Letter of Intent with their coaching change.

"I committed IU today," Abell told Scout.com.

"It's a big time program," he added. "It up there with the Duke's and UK's and being from Louisville it's close to home. It's an honor to be able to play for Tom Crean and Indiana"

Once Abell was released from his LOI a number of schools made contact, including Xavier, Penn State, Western Kentucky and Butler. He visited Indiana's campus on Tuesday.

"They just had a lot to offer," he said of IU. "There's so much tradition and history. It's an honor to be apart of program like that. It's not too far away from home and the facilities, coaches and player were all real cool."

Indiana's recruiting class currently ranks No. 26 overall.
