One school is standing out for J-Mychal Reese, but several others are firmly in the mix.

There is no questioning the talent in the Houston Hoops backcourt The Hoops have four high-major players who all play on the perimeter and one of them is J-Mychal Reese The 6-foot-1 point guard is off to a great start this spring with his play

"It is fun," said Reese of playing for the Hoops "This is our last summer together so we are just trying to go out there and have fun and win a lot of games "

On the recruiting trail there are numerous schools after Reese Having been a high-profile player for a long time, coaches have been tracking his play closely over the past few years

"I am hearing the most from Kansas, Texas A&M, Texas, Baylor, LSU, Oregon, and Alabama," said Reese

While the recruiting process can wear some down, for Reese he is enjoying it and looking forward to the next step

"It has just been fun to talk to the coaches," said Reese "I haven't been on visits yet really I know taking those visits will be fun and I am looking forward to it "

At the moment Reese is really beginning to take a close look at things, and one school seems to be standing out in his mind

"I am looking at things pretty tough right now," Reese explained "I really like Kansas and want to see them, and there are other schools I want to see as well "

When it comes to what he will be looking for in a school, Reese will be focused on a lot of different factors

"I am looking for somewhere where I can come in right away and play," Reese explained "Also I want to go to a program with good coaches and good facilities "

In terms of a timeline, Reese doesn't have one at the moment, and says a decision will happen when he feels comfortable

"There is no telling when I will make a decision, it is just whenever the time is right," said Reese about where he stands in the decision making process
