At just under 6-foot-8 and about 225 pounds, Osborne definitely has a college ready body. The power forward was impressive for Muncie (IN) Central during the high school year, and now is making waves with the Eric Gordon Central Stars on the AAU circuit.
"I think it is going pretty good," said Osborne of his spring. "We have done well as a team and I am really enjoying this spring."
One of the reasons why Osborne has seen his game pick up is because he is finally healthy. After struggling with back injuries early in his career now Osborne is feeling good.
"It is definitely a great feeling," said Osborne of being 100 percent healthy. "There is nothing worse than being injured and having to sit out so it is a great feeling to be out playing. I think my flexibility is a lot better and I am a lot stronger."
Numerous schools have been in close contact with Osborne and have been by the high school to monitor his progress.
When it comes time to select a school for Osborne it will be about the relationships that he has with the coaches and the fellow players on the team.
"I have to like the coaching staff a lot, and the whole attitude around the program," Osborne stated. "I will want to have a good relationship with the players and also education is very important."
In terms of making a decision, Osborne says it will be a little while before he comes to one, but at the same time he doesn't want to completely drag the process out.
"I'm not in a hurry," Osborne explained. "I will probably wait until after AAU is over and then make my decision."
