Lacey will stay home, picks Alabama

Trevor Lacey became the third four-star prospect to commit to Alabama. The 6-foot-3, 185-pounder announced his college choice on Wednesday.

Trevor Lacey's recruitment finally came to an end on Wednesday.

The decorated recruit out of Huntsville (Ala.) Butler announced for Alabama at a press conference at his school.

"I just signed with the University of Alabama," Lacey announced.

With Lacey's commitment the Crimson Tide have quite an impressive haul. Lacey joins four-star prospects Levi Randolph and Nick Jacobs, as well as Rodney Cooper and Moussa Gueye.

Lacey is known as one of the premier shooters in the country. During his senior season, Lacey averaged 31.4 points, eight rebounds and just over three steals per game, while leading Butler to a 32-2 record.

Over the course of his high school career, Lacey has been involved with three state championships, including tournament MVP this past season.

Lacey ranks No. 59 overall in the 2011 class and No. 15 at the shooting guard position.
