Dunn holds three offers

An impressive showing at the Real Deal on the Rock has helped 2012 guard Kris Dunn pick up offers, interest and a national ranking. He updates Scout.com on his game and recruitment.

After a big performance at April's Real Deal on the Rock, Kris Dunn debuted on Scout.com's 2012 Top 100, coming in at 64th overall.

The 6-foot-3, 175-pound New London (Conn.) guard is happy with where his game is currently but is trying to take things to the next level.

"Right now I'm a combo guard," Dunn said. "I can play point guard and shooting guard. I can score and distribute the ball to others. Right now I'm trying to be more consistent with my three-point shot, make better decisions and improve my left hand a little bit."

Thus far, Dunn has garnered offers from Connecticut, Providence and Rhode Island, with interest coming from several others.

"I'm hearing from Louisville, Pittsburgh, Florida, Georgia Tech and Marquette," Dunn said.

There aren't any leaders in Dunn's recruitment, but he is happy with the schools which have offered.

"They all play my style - an up-tempo game - they're great schools and close to my home so my family could get to watch me play," Dunn said.

When it comes to choosing a school, Dunn will take a close look at style of play.

"I'm looking for a team that will let me get minutes on the floor, a team that plays my game style which is up-tempo, fast pace game, that pressures the ball a lot and scores," he said.

Dunn says he will likely wait until August before taking any visits, with a decision coming not long after.

"I'll probably commit before my senior year of basketball," Dunn said.
