Price has major interest

Shooting guard Jordan Price has made big strides this spring and is getting a host of recruiting attention.

It has been an excellent spring for Jordan Price. The three-star shooting guards finds himself just outside the top 100, but an intense level of conditioning in the off-season as well as improvements in his skill have led to an increase in his stock on the recruiting trail and a higher level of play on the floor.

Playing on the Nike circuit with the Georgia Southern Kings, Price helped them qualify for the Peach Jam and has put up good numbers.

"The spring has been going pretty good," Price explained. "I have been working out and staying in the gym getting ready for each EYBL session. We didn't start off very good in Virginia, but we came back in Dallas and fought hard and now we are 4-1 in Los Angeles, so we are getting along pretty good."

Maybe the biggest factor in Price's improvement has been his conditioning. He is in the best shape of his life and it is showing.

"I think I have improved a lot," explained Price. "I just tried to get in better shape and get my body right so I can play a long time in each game."

When it comes to the recruiting trail, Price has been hearing from a lot of schools in the area.

"It is going pretty good," said Price of his recruitment. "Right now it has been Memphis, Auburn, Ole Miss, Georgia Tech, Georgia, and some others."

According to Price his recruitment is still wide open, and he isn't even close to making a decision. With that said he does have an idea of what he will be looking for in a school when the time does come to make his commitment down the road.

"I am looking for a place that feels like home," explained Price. "I want to make sure that the coaches have a great relationship with me and my entire family."
