Temple Adds One, Another Visiting

It could wind up being a big week for Temple. The Owls signed one player on Monday and they're bringing another onto campus mid-week.

Salisbery Signed, Could Dacons Be Next?

John Chaney's Temple Owls added the MVP from the Pennsylvania-Maryland all-star game to roster on Monday.

Salisbery was named first-team and all-big school all-state team last year. He was the slam dunk champion at the Pittsburgh Hoops Classic.

6-4 guard Dustin Salisbery signed a national letter of intent with the Owls today. "We are thrilled that this student-athlete has decided to attend Temple University," John Chaney said in a release." He will make an impact and contribution to our basketball program."

Speaking of contributions, Oak Hill forward Dion Dacons could be the next addition to the Owls' roster. Dacons will make an official visit to Temple beginning Wednesday of this week.

He cancelled weekend visits with Wyoming and SMU and has put off securing a date with Rice until after his visit to Philadelphia. Former Oak Hill standout Antywaine Robinson is a freshman forward at Temple this year.
